Campaign Attribution
Attribution helps the team understand where leads, enrollments, and payments came from.
Source Presets
Use source presets for repeatable campaign values. This reduces manual typing and keeps reports consistent.
| Field | Use |
|---|---|
| Source name | Human-readable campaign or channel name |
| UTM source | Traffic source such as facebook, instagram, google, referral, or event |
| UTM medium | Channel type such as paid, organic, email, whatsapp, offline, or partner |
| UTM campaign | Campaign name |
| UTM content | Ad, creative, workshop, or link variation |
| UTM term | Keyword or targeting note when relevant |
Manual Override
Manual enrollment should allow admins to select a source preset and override values when needed.
Use override when:
- The campaign was not preconfigured.
- A student came through a partner or offline referral.
- A workshop conversion needs a specific note.
- A source was captured incorrectly and needs correction before creation.
Standards
- Show source preset names instead of UUIDs.
- Use searchable comboboxes when source lists are long.
- Keep manual source fields grouped in their own section.
- Preserve attribution from checkout into enrollment and invoice records where possible.
