Marketing Overview
Marketing owns the demand and conversion layer of the platform. The goal is to make every campaign, event, and checkout path traceable.
Core Responsibilities
| Responsibility | Details |
|---|---|
| Campaign setup | Prepare source presets, UTM values, and sales links |
| Checkout entry | Create product-specific sales links for online purchase |
| Promotions | Manage vouchers, rewards, discounts, stacking, and expiry |
| Marketplace visibility | Control whether products appear publicly |
| Events | Manage previews, physical classes, workshops, venue, attendance, and deposits |
| Offline conversion | Help admins convert event attendees through QR or manual enrollment |
Marketing to Finance Handoff
Marketing can influence the price through sales links, vouchers, rewards, and discount codes. Finance remains responsible for invoice records, payments, allocations, Bukku sync, SST, and payment gateway rules.
When a sales link changes price, make sure the checkout and invoice preview still show:
- Original product price
- Applied special price
- Discount, voucher, or reward used
- SST treatment
- Payment plan selected
- Final payable amount
Marketing to Admin Handoff
When leads come from events or campaigns, admins need enough detail to continue the student journey:
- Student identity and contact details
- Source preset or manual source
- Selected product
- Batch number where applicable
- Attendance or RSVP status
- Payment intent or payment record
