Vouchers, Rewards, and Discounts

Vouchers, rewards, and discount codes are treated as discount instruments. They should be easy to apply, remove, and audit.

How to Create a Voucher or Reward

1. Go to Marketplace, then Vouchers.
2. Click Create.
3. Enter the code, name, discount type, and discount value.
4. Choose fixed amount or percentage.
5. Set the active date range.
6. Choose single use or multiple use.
7. Enable stackable only if it can combine with other discounts.
8. Select the products or scopes where it applies.
9. Save and test it in checkout.

How to Apply or Remove a Code in Checkout

1. Open the checkout link.
2. Enter or select the voucher, reward, or discount code.
3. Click Apply.
4. Confirm the order summary shows the discount.
5. If the code is wrong, click Remove.
6. Recheck SST, final total, and payment plan before payment.

Discount Types

Type	Use
Fixed amount	Deducts a fixed currency amount
Percentage	Deducts a percentage from the eligible amount

Scope

Discount instruments can apply to:

• Courses
• Bundles
• Memberships
• Mentorships
• Selected products only
• All eligible products

The scope selection should use the same product selection style as sales links.

Usage Rules

Rule	Meaning
Single use	Can only be used once by an eligible user
Multiple use	Can be reused according to configured limits
Stackable	Can be combined with other eligible discounts
Date range	Only active between the configured start and expiry dates

Checkout Behavior

Checkout should allow users to:

• Apply an eligible code
• See the discount reflected in the order summary
• Remove an applied code
• See special pricing clearly when logged in

Use finance rounding rules when calculating final amounts.
