Membership Types
Membership types define the membership products available for assignment or purchase.
How to Create a Membership Type
- Go to Memberships, then Membership Types.
- Click Create Membership Type.
- Enter the membership name and description.
- Set public, member, and mentorship pricing.
- Set the default validity period.
- Configure the renewal rule as fixed amount or percentage.
- Save draft or publish when ready.
How to Edit a Membership Type
- Open Membership Types.
- Search for the membership type.
- Open the edit page.
- Update details, pricing, renewal rule, or visibility.
- Save changes.
- If members already use this type, archive instead of deleting when retiring it.
Type Setup
| Field | Purpose |

Delete and Archive Rule
If no one has the membership type, delete is allowed. If the type is already used by members, archive instead.
The delete option can remain visible but should be disabled when deletion is not allowed.
Status Actions
Actions should be relevant to the current state:
- Draft can be published.
- Published can be archived.
- Archived can be unarchived.
- Delete is disabled when records depend on the type.
